John grew up in Northern Montana, as many Montana natives call the "High Line." He has lived in many small towns but calls Shelby, Montana his hometown. Before going to physician assistant school at Rocky Mountain College, John began his medical education as a medic and flight medic in the Army and National Guard. After PA school he returned to the Montana Army National Guard to serve as a PA and train medics as well as serving in Iraq in 2004-2005. John obtained a Master of Science – Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College of Health Science in 2021. Throughout his career, he has worked in many fields including orthopedics, trauma, emergency medicine, urgent care and family medicine.“I am passionate about learning not just medicine but also learning my patients’ stories and the history of who they are.”Married for more than 30 years, John loves to live life to the fullest with his family and friends. A true Montana man, some of his favorite activities are camping, hunting and boating.
