Birthing Centers Billings
Sarah Dorsey, CNM, works as a certified nurse midwife with Intermountain Health in Billings. As a provider, she is particularly interested in mental health, VBAC, and preventing the first Cesarean section. Originally from Boise, ID, Sarah graduated from Boise State University in 2010 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She spent the next 11 years working in diverse settings as a labor and delivery nurse across the U.S. She also volunteered for medical trips to India, Kenya, and Nicaragua, training healthcare providers in cervical cancer screening and pre-cancer treatment options. In 2022, Sarah graduated with her master’s in nurse-midwifery from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. Billings was one of Sarah’s favorite places to work as a nurse, and she moved here after graduation to practice midwifery. Sarah is passionate about patient autonomy, sexual reproductive health, and increasing access to healthcare for patients living in rural communities. “I want to partner with patients and educate them about their bodies and healthcare options.” When Sarah is not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, practicing yoga, knitting, and reading.
