Michael Young
Vice PresidentMichael Young, Vice President of Healing Rock Recovery, carries more than a title. I see myself as a restorer of hope and an advocate for families clawing their way back from addiction’s grip. I did not choose this mission; it was woven into my life. For me, it is personal. I never battled addiction myself, but I grew up in its wreckage. I watched my father fight a brutal war with addiction. There were fleeting victories, but they were followed by crushing defeats, broken promises, and the slow unraveling of a man I once admired. The hardest part was not the chaos or the fear. It was the helplessness. Addiction does not just consume the person struggling; it tears through families, leaving wounds that time alone cannot heal. I know that pain. I lived it. And that is why I refuse to let another child believe addiction is stronger than love, stronger than faith, or stronger than the hope of redemption. “My mission is simple: no family should ever feel powerless in the face of addiction.” My purpose is not only to help people get sober; it is to restore families and break generational chains. Addiction is not a life sentence. It is a battle that can be won with faith, purpose, and unwavering support. As a husband and father to two daughters, I know what is at stake. That is why I have made it my mission to ensure that anyone who reaches out for help will always find a hand reaching back. At Healing Rock Recovery in Billings, Montana, we do not see addiction treatment as a business. We see it as a lifeline. We believe no one is too far gone, no one is beyond saving, and no one should ever fight alone.
