Stefanie is originally from Billings, Montana. She earned an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy and a bachelor's degree in biology, followed by a master's in physician assistant studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings. Stefanie always loved learning about science in school and wanted to have a career where she could directly help people. “I believe the health of the provider-patient relationship affects the health of the patient. Active listening, trust-building and partnership with my patient helps nurture our relationship. My job as a physician assistant is to try to understand my patient as a whole so that I can offer individualized education, guidance and evidence-based advice that allows my patient to make important decisions about their health.” As a physician assistant, Stefanie enjoys taking care of every age and stage. She is passionate about women's health and preventive medicine. When she is not at work, Stefanie enjoys singing in the Billings Symphony Chorale, astronomy with the Yellowstone Valley Astronomy Association, camping, and exploring Montana with her family.
